Good Bye Monday! Hello Vacation!

Yes, this is my second post for the day, but seeing as I dont think I blogged last week and the first blog was as special one ;-)

Well, tomorrow at 9am  I am boarding a plane to go see one of my besties! Audrina and my "niece" Kylee.

I cant wait to see them. One bad thing is it is mine and Jeffs first time apart since being married. BOOHOO lol

Jeff is having a hard time with it but they say absence makes the heart grow fonder ;-)

So I most likely wont be back on the blog world until Friday. Will you miss me? jk

Last week was a extremely busy week! You don't even know, Okay maybe you do. With Jeff working "multiple" jobs and I was working extra hours to make up for the time I will be off this week. So come Friday I was so thankful for Saturday. Then, Saturday was of my great friends Sarah got married and it was a very sweet wedding. Here is her and her new hubby!

On a final note, me and Jeff have been working on decorating our home. When we buy things we get it to work in a house some day. So a month ago we bought these nice frames on sale for our wedding pictures. I had other pictures on another wall of three of our engagement pictures and other ones of our friends. Well those frames looked TERRIBLE compared to the news ones. 

So my sweet hubby bought me some of the same ones for the other pictures. We changed some of the pictures and included our closest friends in each picture. We love them, take a look!

A spark can start a fire....

Did you know a small spark can start a fire???

I know your probably saying "Where in the world is she going with that statement?"

Well, Three years ago I was searching High and Low for a job. I was determinded to get a office job. I kept saying I will never work in fast food. Well like my grammie says never say never. Something inside of me kept saying apply at In-n-Out. Ofcoarse I kept saying "I'll never work at fast food." HAHA Well I kept going for interviews at other places and could never get a job. I prayed about it and again something kept telling me go apply at In-N-Out. So I said okay lets go. I knew half the people that worked there, seeing as they either went to school with me or went to our church. 

After I turned in my application I got a interview within a couple weeks and wouldn't you know I started the job within the month. So after I got the job I prayed and asked God why he put me there, there was already so many people from our church working there. Well, he spoke to me and said he put me there because I was the only female from our church. Which meant I wore a skirt (I was the only girl in a skirt)

So I let me lil light shine. I had so many opportunities to speak to coworkers about Christ, answered many questions about why I wore a skirt, why I had hair past my waist, if it was ever cut and what I believed. I never forced myself upon anyone of them. 

Well a couple months ago one of the guys started coming every once in awhile. And Sunday night another guy started coming and he even went down to the altar and was almost one of the last ones to leave. I couldnt help but cry. I cant say that "I" did this or any other of my coworkers from church did. I must say God did it. We just let him shine through us. Lil did I know 3 years ago what God would have done through me and my skirt.

On another note. I bought this extremely cute brooch off etsy today! I cant wait for it to get here so i can wear it to church.

 

 

Real Simple ALL GONE!!! OH NO!!!

For those of you that know me really well or have been to my house, you know I LOVE making list.

So when I found this WONDERFUL magnetic grocery list made by REAL SIMPLE I was in Heaven. I found my wonderful list at one of my favorite stores Target. They also sold a great magnetic weekly menu list. 

Me and Jeff started doing our meals weekly that way it was already planned out and we knew what we were having. So tonight I happily make my venture out to Target to get my list. I know exactly where this section is seeing as I visit it every time I'm in target. Well to my surprise the Real Simple section was no where to be found. AHHHHHHH Oh no what do I do????? I meandered the store to see if they relocated it. Nope no relocation. ALL GONE!!! So if you know where to find the magnetic weekly menu notepads let me know. I will be a very happy person!!!

First off...

What a Great Weekend

I must say that I haven't had a great weekend like this in along time. 

It started by Friday night celebrating a close friends 30th birthday with some great friends. Just sitting and talking with friends can relieve so much stress and get your mind off things. 

Saturday morning I woke up and went grocery shopping at my not so favorite place Walmart ...ugh. But we happened to get there early enough so it wasn't crazy. 

We got home and ate lunch, relaxed and went out so Jeff could get a hair cut and I could go to one of my fav stores Target. The bad thing was I couldn't spend any money. Boohoo for me lol When I picked Jeff up I found out that they accidently cut one of his moles off. When I found that out I almost puked, but its nothing bad just looks like he got a small cut. We then went and got half price drinks at Sonic. Those are the best!!! Yummy!!!

We then went car looking. We dont plant on buying for another year, but we want to see whats out there and we were bored. After we got done there we went to Lowes to look at plants Yippee

To end the night we went over our close friends, Micah and Jasmin's house to hang out along with Eric and Tim. 

All that rambling was to say that i had a great Friday and Saturday!

Happy with and in life

I must say I am quite happy with life.

 

Yes, I do have things to "'complain" about. I guess not complain, but grumble about...

Like = 

 Having an allergic reaction to food and not knowing what part of this food I am allergic too.

Having to go to Urgent Care again Monday (for me this time) because I have a infection and would've paid ALOT of money to use my own insurance which I think it stupid.

Or being nauseous all this week thinking its the medication, but dont know. 

I could go on and on.

But, As I sit here typing thinking about how blessed I am. 

For example =

Having a God who is SOOOOO awesome that he loves me though all I've done and he takes care of me and gives me the privilege to stay on this earth for the time being until he comes for me.

Having a husband who is so awesome, he takes care of me and loves me and cares for me.

Having a roof over my head.

Having Clothes on my back and plenty of them.

Having family that loves me.

Friends that love me.

 

I could go on and on, but I wont. 

God has blessed  me so much and I am so happy about it.

I just wanted to let everyone know I am Happy and love life!

Hello March

I think I smell spring in the air

I am so happy March is here. I want to start planting pretty plants so bad. Also, yummy tomatoes and jalapenos.

I want to here from my dear friends and followers....What are some pretty flowers I should plant?

I know for sure I want theses...

Snapdragons - I love snapdragons I dont know why, but they are so beautiful.

Hydrangea - These plants are so pretty and unique.

 

What else should I plant?

Ladies Conference and a few itches!!!

Well Ladies Conference was great! And I also had a great time with some great friends!

After service we went to The Cheesecake Factory....

Well this is were the few itches come into play. Aparently what I got "The Crusted Ramono Chicken" had something in it I am alleregic to. I woke this morning to a few bumps on my arms back and thighs.

Well now to say the least, those few bumps are few anymore. My thighs, back, lower stomach, and arms are COVERED in them. I mean it looks like BIG mosquito bites everywhere. Usually when I have a allergic reaction to something This happens and it goes away after a day, but never this bad. So if you dont see me at church tomorrow. You know why, I'm at home itching.

If you do see me, no I'm not contagious just allergic reaction.

Elvie Smith *Pappaw Smith*

My Pappaw *Great granpa* was a great man! He lived a very long life. It was two years ago today he went to be with the Lord. I didnt get to see my pappaw often. Only every couple of years, but every time I saw him he always gave me a hug and a kiss and had a great story to tell. Some about journeys across the country, about the church he pastored or just about how much he loved mammaw. 

I loved my pappaw and still do, but he went through a lot in his last couple of years and days as his health declined. I know  he is in a better place now and I will see him again one day.

P.S. Tomorrow I will post another blog, a much happier one, but Ive been so busy with school that I've only had enough time to honor the people that I love.
