Ladies Conference and a few itches!!!

Well Ladies Conference was great! And I also had a great time with some great friends!

After service we went to The Cheesecake Factory....

Well this is were the few itches come into play. Aparently what I got "The Crusted Ramono Chicken" had something in it I am alleregic to. I woke this morning to a few bumps on my arms back and thighs.

Well now to say the least, those few bumps are few anymore. My thighs, back, lower stomach, and arms are COVERED in them. I mean it looks like BIG mosquito bites everywhere. Usually when I have a allergic reaction to something This happens and it goes away after a day, but never this bad. So if you dont see me at church tomorrow. You know why, I'm at home itching.

If you do see me, no I'm not contagious just allergic reaction.

In Love in Memory...Again

Well I guess this week is just full of loveing memories...

In Loving Memory
of
Elvie Smith *Pappaw Smith*

My Pappaw *Great granpa* was a great man! He lived a very long life. It was two years ago today he went to be with the Lord. I didnt get to see my pappaw often. Only every couple of years, but every time I saw him he always gave me a hug and a kiss and had a great story to tell. Some about journeys across the country, about the church he pastored or just about how much he loved mammaw.

I loved my pappaw and still do, but he went through a lot in his last couple of years and days as his health declined. I know  he is in a better place now and I will see him again one day.

P.S. Tomorrow I will post another blog, a much happier one, but Ive been so busy with school that I've only had enough time to honor the people that I love.

In Loving Memory...

In Loving Memory of
Karen Ann Westland
2-24-2004

For those of you who knew Karen, she was a loving mother and wife. She found out she had breast cancer while she was pregnant with her second child, a boy. She fought so hard.
Karen was like a big sister to me. She lived next door to us for quit some time. She helped me through so much.

She fought cancer so hard and the good Lord decided that she fought hard enough and he took her home. I still cry to this day about loosing her, but I know she is in a better place now.

I still miss her so much our spontaneous shopping trips, just me, her and McKenzie. I loved just being able to go to her house whenever and sit and hangout or talk.

I know this blog is all over and kinda a mess, but I just wanted to honor a true friend whom I cant wait to see one day.

In Loving Memory...

I cant believe its already been one year.

Houston James Mondolf Jr.
6-5-85 - 2-20-09

I remember the day like it was yesterday, I was in Mexico just laid down to go to bed. My roomate Sarah Lingbloom recieved a phone call from Brian Regnart. Saying there was a tragic accident and Houston had passed away. Ashley and Chris Coss had major injeries. We didnt believe him and told him to stop joking.

I immediately called my brother asking if it was true. He said unfortunately yes, he was watching it on the news.

We broke down in tears and began to question God as to how and why he would do that.

We continued on our missions trip, but it was hard to stop thinking about what happened.
It didnt hit me till we got home and went to the funeral. It was the best funeral I have ever seen. I cried, but they were tears of joy. Knowing he was in a better place. Everyone rejoiced for his home going.

Houston you are still missed and although we weren't close, you still meant and still mean alot to me.

In Honor of Mexico 2009

One year ago today (February 17-24, 2009) Myself along with 13 other college students and 3 chaperons ventured out of the country, to soil we had never stepped foot on, Tampico, Mexico.

I had never been on a missions trip, but had always wanted to go. This trip was a life changing experience. I had ventured to church services that you would never think would be church services.

One service we had to hike a STEEP mountain while it was raining and we were carrying sound and music equipment. To climb down the mountain we all held on to each other and found our way in the dark by a small flashlight. On one side was frogs everywhere the other was a drop off.  To say the least, we made it back alive.

Even though I couldn't speak there language and they couldn't understand me, God spoke through us and the people there were so hungry for God. I came back with a opened mind that God could do anything anywhere. It was unbelievable.

Enjoy some pictures that are memories of mine.

Happy Valentines Day

In May it will be 4 years that we have been together, I cant believe it.

We flirt.
We love.
We Kiss.
We act like the newlyweds we are.
We will never "come home" from our honeymoon.
(As Bro. Odle told us tonight...never leave the honeymoon. No matter what everyone says)
We laugh.
We cuddle.
We joke.
We have fun.
We Smile.
We like.
We discuss.

He still makes me giddy
He makes me laugh like a little girl.
Every time I look at him I fall in love again.

He will always be my Valentine!

Valentines Day Weekend - Santa Cruz 2010

One year ago Sunday, my now wonderful husband, then wonderful boyfriend took me to Half Moon Bay had the sweetest day planned, wrote me the sweetest note (that I still have and plan to keep) then asked me to be his wife. Of coarse I said YES!!!

Here we are almost one year later

We couldn't afford to go away for the weekend so we decided to take a day and go somewhere. Our last resort is always San Francisco. Well, since I've lived in California I've never been to Santa Cruz. So we decided to go. We started at the boardwalk and drove around from there. Seeing as it is February and the middle of winter the rides were closed so we played mini golf inside the arcade.

Here are some pictures from our day, hope you enjoy!

AAA to the RECUE!!!!

Who wants to hear a story about my "WONDERFUL" car and its even better car battery....

You know your jumping up and down with excitment.

Okay since you insist...

((WARNING LONG BLOG))

It all started yesterday (Tuesday 2/9/10) oh wait it all started when we got back from our Honeymoon. My wonderful mom took my car to FORD to get a oil change while we were gone. You know those wonderful dealerships try to get every penny out of you. They ran every single test possible and said my battery was in the red along with many other usless things that were rediculous. Well, we started saving money for when the battery did die.

That time has come :( yesterday morning it was raining so I had my lights on, well the sensor in my divers side door is broke so when I leave my lights on it doesnt ding like its supose to. So I headed to work with my lights on and since the parking lot gets so packed the day workers have to park in the lot across the "road" and ofcoarse nobody noticed I left my lights on since my car wasnt around and it was now sunny.

So I got off at 5:15 and I was beat. All I wanted to do was go pick up my hubby from work and go home to my soup in the crockpot. NNNNOOOO it cant be that easy. I noticed my remote wouldnt unlock my car (no biggy i'll just replace the battery) ofcoarse not it cant be that easy I get in my car and nope it doesnt want it start its dum dum dum DEAD. NOOOOO it cant be!

So I call the hubby and let him know, then call my handy dandy mechanic (who by the way is AWESOME) to let him know its dead since he said he wouldnt charge to put a new battery in, THEN the awesome people I pay money to every year so when my car breaks down they come to the rescue.

Yes, they know me well. The nice lady on the phone said it could be anywhere from 20min to and hour. I dont want to wait an hour i've been working for 6 and its getting cold!  Luckily he came in 20min.
THANK THE LORD!

First off he wasnt all that friendly, but since at work our goal is to make every customer smile at least once before they leave. By force of habit that was my goal. Well, I guess he warmed up to me cause he talked my ear off. He also told me to take the LONG way home and to drive for 40min to recharge the battery.

Boy, this is a long post, but I have alot on my mind.

Tuesday night we prayed my car would work GREAT until we could get this whole battery cituation worked out. Wouldn't you know he answered our prayers.

Wednesday morning we left the house to take Jeff to work so I could go to a appointment. I also had to go pick up a car battery from my moms that came out of my brothers car that was still under warenty. Back to FORD I went. I was going to try to get them to give me the money back for that one or replace it. Wouldn't you know they wouldn't honor the warenty, but tried to replace every other part in my car.

So, I call my mechanic and off to autozone I go to get a battery. $100 later I have a batter (in my car trunk) Now, to wait till tomorrow to have it put it.

As I was driving today praying my battery wouldnt die I got to thinking. Sometime we treat God like a car battery. We dont really think of needing it (him) to continue on. We just go on, we wake up and continue on our day. Not thinking of the one who starts out day, who starts us. But, if it weren't for that Battery (God) we couldn't go anywhere or do anything.

God, please dont ever let me treat you like a car battery. I dont want to be one to forget about you and just expect you start my day.

My NEW Dining Room Table, Some Wedding Picture and Random Babblings

Well I am a happy girl! We had a great Landmark! It was beyond AWESOME! Just what I needed. I think I am rested, but I'm still not sure yet. Since I had to go back to work Monday and work was extremely busy yesterday and I am sore all over again, but oh well back to work tonight.

We bought our dinning room table today! I am so happy, but I don't get it until Thursday since we want Jeff home when it comes.  I am happy though because i know its coming this week. I guess you could call it my Valentines Day gift. *I think*

Its not a great picture, but it will do until Thursday!!!
Also here are some more wedding pictures I feel like uploading just because.
